Burlington County Chapter

Provided 72 families (280 individuals) who were victims of house and apartment fires at least three nights in a motel, vouchers for food and clothing at no cost because of the generosity of the citizens of Burlington County.
Provided 409 families with sons and daughters in the armed forces stationed around the world with emergency communication linkages, travel support and financial assistance in response to family emergencies.
Collected over 20,000 pints of blood for people in severe accidents, cancer patients and burn victims during 400 blood drives in Burlington County with the support of 600 volunteers.
In addition to serving as a distributor of Automated External Defibrillators, the chapter also provided training in the use of this life saving device.
Trained over 15,000 residents and employees of local businesses in First Aid and CPR.
Have provided support and comfort kits to all the troops being deployed from Ft. Dix and McGuire AFB.
Have run special educational programs in half the school districts in the county, including Masters of Disaster & Basic Aid Training (BAT) & babysitting certification.
Organized an ongoing task force linking all volunteer disaster service providers together to better coordinate emergency response in the event of a large scale disaster
