Services to Families and Individuals
The Red Cross is ready to help when families or individuals are struck by
disaster, such as a house fire, collapse, or other incident that leaves a
dwelling uninhabitable. We can provide temporary lodging and funds for
food and clothing to tide you over for a few days until your insurance kicks in
or you can make other arrangements. If you find yourself in such a situation,
call (609)267-9595 for help.
We also have a variety of brochures and booklets filled with information that
will help you learn how to prepare your home and family in the event of a
disaster or weather event. If you would like more information, call the
chapter office at the number above.
Disaster Action Team
The Red Cross depends on volunteers to provide disaster services. If
you are interested in lending a hand, consider becoming a member of the Disaster
Action Team. Training is provided free of charge to interested
individuals. For more information, contact Gayle Lynch at
(609)267-9595.
